1959 Martin D-28 complete with it's original hardshell case. Overall this guitar is in wonderful condition. It has been refrted and it also apears to have had a neck set. The bridge saddle is a new bone saddle that has been profesionally carved and installed. There is plenty of height on the saddle and the action is perfect. Ther are zero cracks on the top, back and sides, and the finish is in nice condition with some light checking and pick wear around the sound hole. The fingerboard has some wood chips from when the frets were replaced but its not major and has no negative impact on the guitar. The original pat. pend. Milk Bottle Grover Rotomatics all function perfectly. The sound quality of the guitar is outstanding. Rich and full bodied. Beautiful straight grained quarter sawn Brazillian Rosewood back and sides along with a played in spruce top with even grain bring this guitar all together.
The ebony bridge appears to be origianl as well as the maple bridge plate.
