Here we have an early 60's, most likely 1962 Fender Jazzmaster body and neck with a 1963 pickguard assy. The neck has clay dot's and a slab Brazilian Rosewood board. The pickguard assembly is from 1963 and is all original. The tremolo arm is missing. All the tuners are stock single line with logo Klusons with the exception to one that has been replaced with an older single line no logo machine. The knobs, tailpiece, bridge, and neck plate are all stock. The switch tip is a replacement. The guitar came to us with a horrible purplish mystery paint job that included painting the entire neck, minus the fingerboard. Unfortunately, the neck date stamp was destroyed. It has been refinished in Olympic White. The neck has not been finished, and it feels fantastic. Brand new Jescar frets and bone nut have this beauty playing perfectly. The pickups sound incredible and it has tons of cool vibes. The finish looks super white in the photos. In person it has a light yellowing to the color that fits the guitar well. The pickguard has an area that looks like super glue got to. At least that's what it looks like to us. The headstock has a screw on the side that somebody used to fix a small crack. Major overkill but not much we can do about it now. The guitar feels rock solid and is ready for many years of music. It includes a 1964 no logo Fender case.
