Martin D-28GE Golden Era
This guitar has some minor cosmetic flaws, including the binding having shrunk to the point where there are some small gaps in the binding near the neck heel and end pin.
On the bass side towards the end of the fingerboard, there is a small area where the finish is coming off. There is also some light but noticeable finish scratching throughout.
The original "long saddle" bridge has been replaced at some point with a more traditional bridge and saddle. The workmanship is so clean that you would never know.
There is some slight bellying behind the bridge, but nothing out of the ordinary. There is also a slight gap near the neck heel.
The guitar has no cracks, breaks, loose braces, or other structural issues.
Fret wear is very light, and is almost exclusively in the "cowboy chord" zone.
The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod turns smoothly.
Action height is a comfortable medium- sitting at about 7/64" bass side and 5.5/64" treble side, with plenty of room to lower the saddle if so desired.
The guitar has been thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and setup with fresh strings. Overall it is in great shape and is ready to play.
This guitar is a fantastic example of a Martin Dreadnought- it has a rich tone with impressive projection and excellent string to string clarity.
Includes the original hard case.
