Modifications / Repairs: The upper bout of the body had been separated and a very poor repair had been attempted. Seattle luthier, Paul Stroh was able to clean up and reattach the upper bout and flatted out the crack. Headstock has had a crack repair, but there are no breaks. The pickguard had many cracks due to heavy shrinkage that have been superglued from the back. The bridge pickup was repaired in-house by Tommy – The ears had been bent and soldered to the pickup ring itself, and Tommy repaired them by bending them back into place as close as possible without damaging them and then epoxied and wrapped with wire and solder. A new lead has also been installed as the old one was destroyed. The tremolo arm has been removed and is included with purchase.
Case Details: Original w/no modifications. Excellent condition.
Cosmetic Condition: Overall, we would rate the condition as good. There have been quite a few repairs done, but there is body checking, and some belt buckle rash. None of these impact the playability of the instrument.
Tech Notes: This guitar is a vintage player – Professionally repaired and set up and plays like a dream.
