1962 Magnatone Model 425 Bass Amplifier.
This amp has lots of noticeable cosmetic wear to the cabinet, however the grill cloth is in very good shape.
The original Oxfords have been replaced with 2 Weber Michigan’s on the bottom and 2 Weber 12F150’s on top.
Sounds absolutely phenomenal with full warm clean tones up to about 3 or 4 on the volume that give way to thick overdrive. Sounds very reminiscent of a Tweed Bassman.
The touch sensitivity is unbelievable, with the volume dimed you can achieve crystal cleans by simply lightening up with your picking hand.
INCREDIBLY heavy. A cart or dolly is a requirement for moving it.
